The Role

Humans have never attempted this before and you’ll work directly with the CEO to make this possible. You’ll get to wear lots of hats: strategy, fundraising, business operations, marketing, sales, hiring, product, etc ‐ whatever is the top priority. We’ll divide and conquer.

Core responsibilities

Acts as an extension of the founder and information funnel, filter, and facilitator
Stay up to date on the latest developments in NetZero/ venture capital/ technology and shipping - who, what, when, where, why and how of shipping
Conduct research on new opportunities/ business models/ partners/ investors/ connect on Linkedin/ organise meetings, followup, summarise findings on compnay database Notion
Build and maintain Typeform, Notion and Google Sheets databases.
Manage events like sea trials & support the wider team
Create/ updates slide decks for internal and external stakeholders
Take ownership & manage the company's social media presence, website content, email lists, conceptualise & deliver content & community management strategy around our mission
Interface and manage suppliers & subcontractors as needed
Other tasks as assigned

Given that we’re an early stage startup, you will be working in a fast-moving, dynamic environment. Your role at the company will be similarly dynamic. More than anything, we’re looking for someone that can adapt to the changing needs of the company. That said, there are some responsibilities and qualifications we expect to stay relatively constant for this role.

Basic qualifications

Able to handle confidential information with a high level of professionalism and discretion
3+ years of experience working in startup environments
